Escargo Parking

College & campus parking, without the guesswork

Escargo Parking collects the official parking rules for third-level campuses across the island of Ireland — always with the source and the date we last checked — and adds free community space reports: drivers who are leaving say so, drivers who are looking get a heads-up. A report means recently reported available. It is never a reservation and never a guarantee.

Former names work too — DIT, GMIT, IT Sligo, LYIT, WIT, IT Carlow, AIT, LIT, CIT and IT Tralee all resolve to today's university campuses.

Student pilot — live

DkIT parking — Dundalk Institute of Technology

Free student parking (Car Park 9 and the DkIT Sport overflow), pay-and-display areas from €0.30/hour, and the official clamping rules — sourced from DkIT's own parking page and dated. Staff-only car parks are excluded from student reporting. DkIT itself states that paying for parking does not guarantee a space.

How Escargo Parking works

  • Official facts, sourced. Every rule shows where it came from and when we last checked it. Where a campus page conflicts with itself, we say so instead of guessing.
  • Community reports, free. “I’m leaving a space” publishes an anonymous report that expires within minutes. “I’m looking” gets you those reports for one campus at a time.
  • No reservations. Nothing here holds, books or guarantees a space — and paying a campus fee doesn’t either.
  • Honest coverage. 83 physical campuses across 37 institutions are in the register today (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland). Campuses without confirmed parking information say exactly that.
