Why is my exhaust loud?

Often a blown section, a corroded joint or a failed silencer. A garage will locate the leak.

Can an exhaust fault fail the NCT?

Yes — excessive noise, leaks or high emissions can all cause a failure.

Not usually — many exhausts are sectional, so only the affected part is replaced.
